Clone Database not Cloning

I need a tester for my app, and want to create a clone database. But all it does, if create a new blank database, rather than a clone. Is that correct ?

How do you clone database? Via export/import?
no, I click the Clone button on database settings!

Unfortunately, it's a bug. Will be fixed. For now, you can do this only by copying each collection separately via export/import.

This bug was fixed.
I cloned DB, and it created new copy of my DB. However, many collections of the original DB has been deleted and Files collection has been emptied. That is the damage I could estimate so far. Is this expected behavior when I clone DB ??
The newly created DB is a complete and correct copy. But the original one has been severely damaged. All my code built on the original one. How can I fix this?
