We had no luck scanning the VIN barcode that is located in the car in both iphone and Android apps. Is there an update coming that is going to get the window size increased for it to read the barcode properly.
This is an important feature for anyone to use an App to scan barcodes from the car.
Any update will help us?

Please clarify how do you test it? From tester or as native installed one?
Also show us screen shot of what you see.
I've created a app using appery.io barcode service and deployed it to both of my iOS and Android devices. Also i've tried via appery.io tester app as well no luck.

You can try to re-add scanner.

When you say everything works what type of barcodes.
QR code does work. The vehicles usually have Code 128 or UPC. Attached is a sample barcode see if it works for you. For us it does not. This will level set the expectations
