I was sort of confused editing names of my service in a Firefox. This interface quite cleverly edits the name of the tab you're working on something like a second after you've typed a character. But doing so it unfocusses the name field. That's sort of counter intuitive, and when your next move in the text field would be to remove a character by backspace, your browser window flips back to the previous page. Makes you lose your work without a warning.

I know it's just a tiny detail, but maybe it's easy to fix by refocussing on the field after updating the tab's name?

We cannot reproduce this behaviour. Could you please clarify what you do before you lose the focus?

Firefox 17.0.1. I've checked, it's not making this error in Chrome.

that's the latest, 17.0.1, isn't it? I got some kind of auto-updater. You can't reproduce it in Firefox either?

No, I use 24.0 for example.

By default, Firefox automatically checks for updates for itself and notify you when one is available. Here is the step-by-step guide on how to check for updates manually: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/...

Thnx. I did do my update. Some system thing blocked my auto update. But that doesn't make any difference, FF24 is behaving in the same way. After every character you add or delete to a servicename, updates the servicename in it's tab after like a second, and looses its focus on the field - in FF, not in Chrome.
It's kind of unimportant though, just a little confusing.
