I made changes in the Design view, but the html and css had the old version and had none of the new changes I made. When I make changes in the Design view, do I have to remove/modify the html and css individually?

Did you change anything on the Source tab?

I think I changed margins in the css. Does that make the source files and Design view out of sync? I saved it, logged out, changed browsers, and none helped. So how do I make the Design view and source files sync up again?

The point is that If you try to make any changes in the visual builder after you have edited the source, the changes won’t be seen on Preview.

So there is no way to sync up the visual builder with the source files now? I changed the source files yesterday and it's still not reflecting the new changes today. Is there a way to clear cache on the server?

No, you can only restore files http://docs.appery.io/tutorials/sourc... (Delete modified file, to restore it, you should select “Undo all source changes” from the WEB_RESOURCES menu)
It's better to create separate CSS asset with code you need.

Thank you for your quick response. I selected "Undo all source changes" and the Mobile Preview still doesn't reflect the visual builder. Is there a time lag to see the changes?

Just to clarify, if I want to make changes like padding or font on a label in the css, I have to create a separate css with the same class name?

While designing - yes, otherwise changes in the visual builder won’t be seen.

I restored to a previously working version and now both are in sync. In the future, will Appery have the ability to edit the source files and that change will be reflected in visual editor to allow for simultaneous editing?

Hello! It's an interesting feature, but there is no specific time frame yet.
