A collection from my DB has just disappeared; we were using it yesterday and did not delete, yet it is no longer there when we log in today. It is/was called "Reports" and was in the ReportDB. The various query/list/update/etc services are still shown in the application that was using it, but the collection is simply missing.

1. Can you please help restore it?

2. Why did it disappear? Can we rely on the appery DB's to be stable?

   Please advise.

Yes, I can access the database. But the collection is still missing. The DB had 2 collections (Reports and Phones) -- the Reports collection is the one that disappeared.

It looks like it was occasionally manually deleted.
Did you do any administrative actions to your database? Did you create/delete any other collections?

We'll check if we have your database backup but we cannot guarantee it is the latest version.

I was able to re-import the backup, and while it was not the latest version, it was close enough.

Two follow up questions:

1. Can you tell from your DB logs when the collection was dropped and why?

2. What can we do to avoid any future repeats? I looked for permissions to block dropping but didn't find any.

Unfortunately we don't know anything about it. Everything looks like you deleted it yourself. If it was our bug caused by the latest release there wouldn't be a clear operation as in your case.

As for the exact date and time, I will ask our administrators about it.

This just happened to me too. Is there anyway to backup a database as a .CSV so I can easily restore it.
