My app works well from browser where it is able to invoke a REST service and populate image field.. However the same fails on mobile when i try using safari on ios and default browser in android jellybean. Is there any difference in the way the service is invoked or fields populated. i am setting the value of image asset.

Hello! Could you tell us device and version you use to test your app? Does it work for you when you install app on device? We tested with iPhone 4 (iOS 6.1.2) - it works.
i tested on ipad mini and iphone 5

Did you change the service that returns an image?
It worked correctly on our devices until something has changed.
Sorry I was out sick for over a week. I have not changed anything - still works on browser but not on device
I have now recreated the app from start and it now works. When I was testing services with default values, somehow the UI has created them as local variables and moved the mappings out. So I have noe started afresh. Will keep you posted.
