I had constructed an app with the barcode scanner from Appery and it does not appear to be functional anymore.
Can you confirm that the barcode scanner is still functional on your side?

What exactly is not working?
When I click on the button that should invoke the service, nothing is happening, where it used to go to the barcode scanner screen.
Could you please also provide information on what device you have tested and OS version?
I have been testing this on Samsung Galaxy phone and Tab 3 using the appery android platform testing app. It had previously worked fine, but when I checked it today to do more development there was no response.
Have you verified the barcode functionality in the last days? Has anything changed recently?

I have shared the app QR Scanner. I have it currently set to open to the page test_barcode_scanner. Please test that on your machine and let me know if it is working.
I've tested, barcode scanner work! Did you install apk on your device?
