Pop-up event doesn't work in iOS simulator.

Not sure why my pop-up isn't working in iOS Version 4.3 (238.2).
I have a checkbox with a "open pop-up" action attached to the click event. Clicking on the checkbox should open the pop-up. On the Tiggr test environment this works fine. When I download the files, it works fine in a browser and in Adobe Device Central models for iPhone, Android, Blackberry, etc.
However, it does NOT work in the iOS Simulator.
Am I doing this wrong?
How do I go about debugging this so I can sort out if it's a problem with my expectations, the Tiggr code, the iOS simulator, or whatever? Any help you can provide would be appreciated.
