Best way to add social sharing buttons?

I am wondering what might be the direction to look in to add social sharing buttons to specific hybrid app page and a "follow us" type menu in app. Would I look to use simple javascript sharing similar to desktop accessed sites or some sort of jquery plug in or simple html. Has anyone implemented anything in their app for this that worked well? I did notice the singly plugin but that looks like too much for this task. As far as placement, I was thinking either something along bottom bar or floating if possible.
