I want to select one customer and have that information only displayed in a new window how do I do that?

I created a query service to display my customers in a list, now I want to be able to click on that customer and have only their information displayed in a separate page. What services would I need and would it be best to use a button to select that record, or should I change all of that and use a check box list form instead? Any help on this would be appreciated.
