Unable to delete data binding on Chrome, Mac OS X

On Mac OS 10.9.1, using Chrome browser Version 32.0.1700.102 I am unable to delete the data binding. I can select the line between the service parameter and UI element, the 'delete' circle appears but nothing happens when I click the delete circle.
I have tried clicking all around that circle but no response.
the only way to actually delete the binding is to log out, log in using FireFox and delete the binding (works without any issues).
Any ideas?
