I use the deviceID in my database. However, when I test the app on my laptop, the screen says "null", and no deviceID is stored in my database. So I am guessing it doesn't work on laptops. Anyway I can test it on my phone? or can someone tell me if the thing would work when I test it on my phone? Appery.io tester DID NOT work at all, not even the other functions that I can perform in the app on the laptop.

Push notification will work only as installed app on the device, it won't work in the browser or in Appery.io Mobile tester.
