Hi, in the past few days I’ve been evaluating Appery.io as a potential app maker for my team using the free version with Bootstrap. It seems a very efficient and flexible product, mostly developer oriented, giving a lot of freedom to build a professional responsive app. Connecting to DB & REST APIs are very cool features.

I understand it’s still in beta but I would like to point out that the documentation is a bit confusing because the Bootstrap and JQuery versions are not separated. Since the two versions share almost nothing in common searching both in the devcenter and the forums leads to results that might be completely irrelevant. While JQuery components and events are fully documented, the Bootstrap ones are vaguer and require a lot of guesswork.

In my first attempt to incorporate the angular-js Carousel (https://angular-ui.github.io/bootstrap/) in my app I’ve been getting a lot of errors like [ng:areq] and undefined. Could you give us a complete example of what is required in the custom Javascript file ie. naming, injections and any other associations we have to explicitly take care of?

You should use html component to add necessary directives.
