Unclear choice of database preset

Hi. I'm wanting to create an app to track parts stored in my garage. I want a mobile app that could be used by 3 people to update the online database on the fly without needing to input data on a computer. It would need an ID code for each part, the type of part it is and different details on its status (such as usable, new, faulty etc). Each part would be different, none the exact same. Therefore numbers of parts etc will not need to be stored. My input form would need to, ideally, be multiple choice with a line to add a new type of part or additional details on its status, but for the most part the user selecting preset buttons of tyres, throttle body etc and if its faulty common faults with it, as well as room to add one if not already listed. It would also be ideal if the user could search the database, much like on a spreadsheet or array table whereby they could look over the database for a part then find it in the garage.

My issue is understanding the database setup you guys have. The 3 presets of User, Files or Device do not seem to fit the needs I have and am unclear as to which I need to use, if any. Device would be my best guess but id rather be clear, since im very new to this.

Many Thanks for your help,
Cheers,

Josh
