how to get facebook access token for request parameter (post timeline)

Hi ,
I am following what Max Katz did in his youtube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9QP01...)
about "Building Mobile Apps With the Facebook API"
I am confusing with the access_token, in the youtube shown to get access_token manually by getting it from the google chrome developer tools - resources - local storage ..
how to get the access_token on the real implementation?
