I am using the background plugin to allow my app to track geolocation while the app is running the background. My question is, is there a way I can display a message banner at the top when the app is running the in background and the screen is locked? I am looking to replicate the look of Maps on iOS. When you are navigating and lock the screen, a banner is displayed on the lock screen showing notifications from the app.

My next question is: Is there a way to send a lock event to the device to force the device lock the screen?
