can't remove nav bar from popup footer after deleting one of the buttons

I added a navbar to the the footer of a popup. A red x appears in each of the three default buttons, but if i remove one button, the red x goes from the others so the nav bar cannot be removed. how do i remove it?

Please use breadcrumbs to select component after that you can remove it.
