Unexpected token illegal error when loading a page

When I attempt to load a page ("manage_messages") having several attached services, I get an "unexpected token" error message in the Chrome debugger. I've tried to check all the things I control but cannot seem to spot any problems - and I don't know how to proceed. I've shared the app and hope you can help. To duplicate:

1. load app
2. from splash, go to menu
3. click apperi button at right on header to load the "manage_messages" page - but it hangs.

You have problem with your JS code in Error event hander for "update_message" datasource.

Yurii, the service you and your colleagues provide is simply extraordinary and beyond appreciated. I must've looked at this line of code 5 times and never saw the inconsistency. I will check it out tomorrow when I get to work but I'm sure you have found the culprit. I can't tell you how I how much I appreciate this.
