Hi,
I want to play with push notification but it seems that I need to install the app on my device and to do it I have to publish it on Google Play. Is there other way to check that funcionality?

Yes, you have to install your app on a device. You can export your app as binary .apk file and install via QR code. Just click button "Export" in the upper panel and choose desired option: http://www.screencast.com/t/RsOTAHKP

I missed that there's a certificate needed which can be generated in Account.
