Appery App for Desktop?

Has anyone done an assessment of (or does someone have practical experience/advice) in using Appery for development of an App? I can think of a few obvious differences:

  • theming & screen size(s)

  • Touch vs mouse

  • no mobile device features (geolocation, accelerometer, camera, etc.)

  • local storage is different

Are there other major differences? What browsers (& versions) are supported? Is Appery on desktop viable only in a browser, or can a "phonegap app" run on a desktop?

    Thank you-

Just a couple of thoughts: When I run my pure web app designed for a phone on newer versions of Chrome and Firefox on the desktop running on a WiFi, it detects current location just fine. And local storage seems to operate exactly as it does on iPhone's Safari.
