Having just had a swift look into the what's new, it looks as though Angular 2 is indeed a welcome advance towards abstraction and avoiding boilerplate code.
Are there any plans at Appery.io to embrace Angular 2?

With the final release of Angular 2 now being imminent, is there a schedule to support it?

Sure, we are planning to use AngularJS 2 when it will be ready.
