I am a bit unsure about Google pricing structure.

Am I right in saying that for free apps, I can make unlimited calls to the Google Maps API at no cost, or is there a limitation?

Is this the same for both Android and IOS apps?

What I intend to do is provide driving directions, between two points, I already have the latitudes and longitudes for these points, so I will not need geolocation to find them from the addresses.

There are limits 'free' app or not.

However ... the number of calls per day before reaching the limits is reasonably high.

If you get an API set of keys .... you'll get a good idea when you beta your app if you'll run into challenges....
