event offline doesn't seem to work.. I have it attached to a page so I assume when device is offline (let's say airplaine mode) and user goes to this page it would trigger navigatettopage (special offline page with message) - doesn't happen
any other way to add custom JS to LOAD event so detection happens onload?
How do you test the app, as mobile web app or native app?

event offline doesn't detect that device is offline.. same will be with online event - caching in the app is so aggressive that app doesn't even know when it is back online
Have you tried a basic alert using this example?
