Is the new popup from here http://jquerymobile.com/demos/1.2.0/d... going to be available in the latest update as a UI widget? I mean, can we create a new popup just like we could do dialogs until now, and drag and drop components on the popup, when the new update is released?
Also, the current dialog seems to load(appear) very slowly on a mobile device compared to the actual dialog from the jquery mobile demo page.

It will still be a dialog for now, but you will be able to open the popup via JavaScript.
Thanks, are you aware of the loading speed of the current dialog and how it compares to the dialog from the official jquerymobile demo site? In my situation, I have found that for some reason when it's(the dialog) showing up it kinda shows some lag and slowness ...
