Some time ago I enquired about a method to dynamically read a website and handle the html (etc) from the website as a string/array.

The only way to do this appears to be via a REST service, but I have been struggling to get a valid response setting.

Would you be able to assist please, I have researched and tried and tried again, but I still cannot figure out how to use the REST service to "GET" a webpage.

You can use Generic service (custom JavaScript implementation).

Is there a tutorial or doc that shows me how to do this please?

I've set up the Generic Service (with a custom javascript implementation) as per the twitter search example (Creating GenericService (sending Ajax request)) but now am completely stuck as to how to get at the data from within my app.
