What do I have to do to make my Android app compatible with tablets?

I've developed an app and pushed it to both and Android and Apple stores. The app scales nicely to tablet size (as can be demonstrated on the iPad), but for some reason the Google Play store has decided that the app doesn't support tablets.

How can I make my Appery.io project support android tablets?

Hi Jonathan,

Play store doesn't allow to install your app to tablets or not showing it in apps for tablet?

Probably for this question Google Play support can answer more detailed.
Here you can find official android style guidelines.

Maybe google suggests to you review UI in your app. Do it more responsive for album orientation and screen density.

Play store doesn't allow it to install on tablets.

It's not about the UI I don't think, it looks okay on tablets. I think it's about some code somewhere which the store looks for to see if it'll work on tablets.

May be support of Google Play Store can answer more specific?
