Any plans to support bi-directional UI to Code and Code to UI generation?

First of all, I must say that I am very impressed with Appery offering. However, I find that your UI to code generation is sometime lagging behind what I could build manually or using another UI builder tool.

This being said, I still find that the end-to-end offering from Appery is stellar - combining UI builder, server code, REST and database services. What I would like to see is the ability to enhance the code that was generated from the UI builder and have it reflected back in the UI such that I can continue building the UI using drag and drop.

I realize it's not a simple request, but I'd like to get your thoughts on this. Thanks and congrats on a great offering!

Hi Dmitry,

That is, you want to change code generated by Appery.io and then continue working in Appery,io UI Builder?
You are right, this is a difficult task, because rendering UI components from custom code is not that easy. This is not planned in the nearest future.

Yes, that's the idea... what happens if I use a general HTML component or create a Custom component that contains my HTML/JS? Would that allow me to continue working in the UI builder after embedding my own code?

Hi,

Yes, sure. You can add any HTML, JavaScript or CSS code.
