App Speed Issues

My apps are extremely slow when trying to access data from the database. I see some apps allow you to pull all the data down onto the device first. Once the data is on the phone it is fast.

  1. What is the best way to store data from the database on the device?

  2. What are the pros and cons for doing this?

  3. Do you have documentation how this can be accomplished?

    Thank you.

Hello! If you have data in DB which won't change there is no need to call data each time, you can use local copy instead. What to use to store data depends on size and data structure.

Thank you

I was thinking of allowing the user to update whenever they want to.

Please can you explain what would be required to store the data if there is quite a bit of data and images?
