Can't access apperyio development system from Chrome on linux

I can no longer access the development ide on Linux Chrome. I am running Ubuntu 16.04 and Chrome Version 54.0.2840.100 (64-bit) When selecting the apps tab i just get the spinner as though it is trying to load.
The console shows the following errors:
