Is it possible to make the popout panels modeless. ie you can carry on working on the main page and need a button click to close the panel.
This would be good for landscape or larger screens where there is more real-estate.

Unfortunately it's not possible straight in UI builder, but if it's real with javascript or jQuery, it can be implemented to Appery.io.
Can you point me in the right direction.
Are you saying I can change the behaviour in code or do I have to re-create the panels somehow?

Actually should be possible to change the behaviour with code, but you can create it yourself as well.
