my startscreen having a carousal and four images which navigate to four different pages. when am adding the lightbox.js i.e jQuery.min and javascript.min to the app, my app is not responding for any clicks and the carousel is hided

What Lightbox version are you trying to add? Version 2.7.1 works for us. Please note jQuery is already added to your app, so you should just add the needed library file and CSS code.
yeah am also using the same 2.7.1 version

Let's try the following. Add only lightbox.min.js and check whether their sample code (from their site) works for you please.
