Persistent header?

Hi guys,
I've just found the 'Persistent' property for footers and it really helps my app appear smoother when changing pages.
Can I do the same for the header?

Unfortunately we don't have this functionality for header.
Is there a simple workaround?

Header and Footer are jQuery Mobile components, you can search for such workaround online.
