I plan to use IndexDB to save data locally, if I update my apps, will the data being removed?

Could you clarify what you mean under updating your apps.
let say my app version is 1.0 and users already had their own local data in their mobile device..
and I have to update my app for some reasons (ie. bugs fixed .. etc) version 1.1 .. and I posted to Google Play and let them download and update their apps.. will their local data being removed because of they install a new version of my app?
It has to remain locally on these devices after updating the app, because the app name/id will also remain on the device.
