Is signing up with Apple as a developer absolutely necessary?

I just added the camera, a button, image and did the mapping as per the directions.
I am using a PC and have an iphone and an ipad. Am I correct in understanding that I have to sign up as a developer with Apple ($99) before I can see the app in action?
Or is there another functionality built into Tiggzi that I'm overlooking?
Thanks in advance for steering me in the right direction.

Yes, to install the app even just on your phone (not publish to App Store), you need to sign up for Appe Developer Program.

This might help:

One option is to test on iOS Simulator (which is part of the Xcode developer tools). You don't need to pay $99 in this case.

Thanks... That's just the kind of info I was hoping for..
As I'm just trying to learn my way around at this point ,
my first goal is to just make a mobile web site using Tiggzi.
But I am intrigued by the idea of making an app.
I actually think I might be able to do that with Tiggzi.
AND for ME (65 years & not counting) that would be AMAZING!

So far what I've noticed is that I can't get the gradients in the main container to appear but have loaded up custom images OK.

Also tried to get the 'data-iconpos ="notext" without much luck but I will check the forum posts and try to find an answer. My guess is to edit the .css file (if I can figure out how to do that) But I'm still reading and learning at this point. Very interesting!

Who knows? Maybe if I get a little proficient here I'll end up with the $50 a month plan. I'll keep at it for a while.

What blew me away was my 12 year old grandson, who has an avid interest in your program. (I didn't mention to him that I was also looking at your stuff!)
Hows that for a generational spread of interested users?
You guys must be up to something incredible to have that sort of appeal.

Thanks again.
Regards

Larry

Thanks, Larry. Glad you like our builder.

I remember trying data-iconpos="notext" and it worked. If you post more details, we'll figure it out.

As for grandson, I'm guessing he is in school? He can get 6 months free Pro plan as part of our Edu plan.
