"On focus event" doesn't seem to execute at all. Shouldn't there be a "on select value" equivalent to "key_up" event for keyboard input?

I'm talking about the "Slider" - the UI component where you can select a numerical value by sliding it using touch.

Any update on this? It's rather stopping for me to use the Slider (which would be a real shame).
