echo override at run time doesnt seem to be working

I'm still getting error when no internet connection. The service is not use the echo response.

Did you add code prealert(categories.__requestOptions.echo);/pre on error event? What you see when the code is running? Also could you post screenshot from Settings service tab?

alert show whole response data. but next time when I run the service again it connect to internet and get the new data instead of echo data and bind it with list view.
