The code works perfectly but the IDE reports lots of errors when I cut/paste your code to to the js file.
Is the code depreciated or outdated? Do you have a new solution for this?

I have noticed the following:

1. When the screen goes to sleep and you reopen it the service carries on but a new marker starts up resulting in many marker being dotted around the screen. How can I prevent the screen from going to sleep?

2. It seems the service runs fine for a short will and then the marker freezes. If I touch the map the marker starts up again. Why is this happening?

3. I would like to change the marker icon. How do I do this?
