Maybe I'm just missing it because I'm brand new at iPhone debugging, but I cannot find anything on any of the screens which looks like an error - but it just keeps hanging. I'll share the app again - can I please ask that you see my above post and try to look at the device. Thank you very much.

We have tested your application with weinre on mobile device with ios 7.1 and using Firefox on desktop. We don't have such issue.
Could you test your application using another browser on desktop?

Thank you very much. When I get to work this morning I will test out on other browsers. But just to confirm that I understand your comment, are you saying that when you run the application on the iPhone there is no hanging? Or that you see no errors being reported but it still does hang?

Do you want my test on different browsers on the desktop to be in test mode, or by using the application as a real user would use it, or to test the iPhone using Weinre?

Sorry for inticate answer. We have tested connection to weinre from your application. The connection works fine in every step from 1 through 6 that you wrote in your question. Really when you click on "update list" on ipad the application hangs. But you have some errors when you test your application even on desktop(see attachment). So you can start from avoiding these errors.
