Page Interface goes AWOL...

It seems that at times after saving and running test, the interface goes totally AWOL.

Elements on the page vanish completely. Despite reloading and saving repeatedly it does not help. Seeing depopulated pages is a little annoying. I can't seem to get them to propagate through save and test, regardless of how many times I try.

The "back" button is invisible in the header. Tough to click when it is not available. It does respond to the "backspace" key just the same.

I can't for the life of me delete a grid once it's place on the panel. I have seen the video that show the parameters being changed, but there is nothing available to display the row, col attributes. There is no "X" on the graph to delete it. It totally screws things up if it is trapped on the panel.

On another note it would be a bonus if there was context sensitive help for the interface. All those nifty features if they are wrongly deployed cause a lot of false starts and aggravation trying to ferret out their behavior.

Thanks.

Page Interface goes AWOL...

I moved the buttons and input fields around and they reappeared when saved and tested. Unfortunately I have no data coming back for some new and unknown reason. The grid is still trapped on the panel, and refuses to surrender to any sort of reconfiguration in terms of changing the rows and cols, and or deleting.

If there is one thing at this point that would make me run away from your product, it would be the mock up tool. It is totally whacked out from a reliability standpoint. The only way around it is to trash your work and start over, followed by praying. There is no undo and redo history to test changes, which makes for living dangerously when implementing changes.

I appreciate that this is a work in progress, but it is a nightmare to predict results when doing fundamental things like editing, saving, and testing.

What ever happened to an editor? It's like being trapped in an Iron Maiden.

Honest.

Hello!

Does it happen with only current project? What browser do you use?

It's chrome.
Also Firefox as a confirmation.

I also run a copy in Tor to avoid blocking of my IP when testing data requests.
There are limits on some services and they will lock you out for a period of time if you don't jump IP's. That would be Firefox as well.

There is only one project, given that it is a "guest" account.

I'm not inclined to keep dumping projects just to evade "bugs".

I prefer to test things on the periphery, and then if they work integrate them over time.

If I had full access to the source files, I would give them open heart surgery when they stopped being cooperative. ; P

The grid removal / config thing is beyond annoying. It needs a hammer at this point.

Thanks

jeezus...

I finally managed to dance around the grid until it revealed it's little "delete" feature.

It was not an easy job getting it to appear.

Nesting "grids" makes accessing such things near impossible unless you know definitively that the button still exist.

Context sensitive help would save a lot of aggravation. Wandering off to search help posts and youtube for simple things is a productivity killer.

I was well aware of those features.
The issue was that the delete button was HIDDEN from view.
For intents and purposes it was INVISIBLE.
It was NOT possible to navigate to the delete button without a lot of difficulty.
I spent an eternity trying to trigger it to appear.
For all I could tell from the shear volume of effort expended, the feature no longer existed. That was a reasonable assumption.

At the risk of harping on it...

Context sensitive help is not an unusual feature.
It is as old as dirt.
It would put the information closer to the decision process.

Thanks.
