image doesn't show on device

I have a news page on my app that consits of an image, some news text and a hyperlink. This works fine in the development environment, but the image is missing on my device. The device is a hudl ht7s3 tablet running android 4.2.2.

I installed it as a .apk, I've since tried it from the tablet browser (chrome) and that doesn't work either.

you can log in to the app username: admin and password: ravine.123

then select what's cooking at dougie's to see the news page.
