Geolocation plugin problem

I am trying to install this plugin as well. Would it be possible to have a tutorial on this please?

From other posts and discussions I can see that there is a demand for background geolocation

Hi Madi - We don't have plans to create such tutorial, in nearest future we will introduce Cordova plugin wizard management board in our visual builder and it will be very easy to add any 3rd party plugin to your Appery.io project.

After adding the the background geolocation plugin, it seems to work only partially.
The main BackgroundGeolocation.java file is installed correctly, however I get this error when this file is trying to start a service intent:

This probably means that there is an error in AndroidManifest.xml
Here is where I have added LocationUpdateService

Did I do this right?

I see now that I put the service in the wrong place. Should be before the end of application tag.

If anyone is having problems installing background geolocation plugin, ask me. I finally got it to work for Android only, don't have an iPhone to test on.

Step 3 in Maryna Brodina's answer on November 12, 2014 09:24 above has an error.
This is how AndroidManifest.xml should be:

Also, make sure you have WAKE_LOCK permission.
