No errors when scanning. I just can't get the app to display anything. My phone is just stuck on scan mode. However before I mapped data to both SKU in local variable AND the label component, I was at least getting the SKU in the first field. But what good is a database if mapping to a local variable doesn't read it? How do I know the app is connecting to the dBASE with the SKU and other product info??

Hi Scott,

You can use service "Error" event that fires if a service error occurs. There you can write your code to handle this situation.

Now I'm getting the barcode again but the screen goes white - app crashes. Is that an appery.io issue?

Here is a new post on barcode scanner not working

I built a new test app and added the barcode scanner. It scans a barcode and below the scanner box, it only shows 'product found' but when I scan another item, it will quickly display the three text responses - text, format, cancelled and flash back to scan mode. Then the screen goes white and I have to exit out of app completely. With my first test app I had the app listing the three text responses - text, format, cancelled, without having to close it out..Sounds like a bug in the appery scanner service maybe??
