Iphone App launches with appery CI

Hi

When I run my iphone apps, it displays the Appery Logo. How do I get rid of this?

Thanks

Thanks Julian and Bruce Appery, a prompt reply would be appreciated. I have a furious client because your logo is consuming the branded launch image. Very unprofessional.

Deon,

The path forward here is to do the following:(requires xCode by the way)

  1. In Appery - save your images that you are using for Splash screen to your working drive. Be sure to label them according to size.

  2. Export your project to xCode

  3. In xCode - open up the resources, navigate to 'splash'. There are 4 assets that I believe are the 'appery' images that you need to replace. They are the default and 2x images - save a screen print of the names of the assets (splash images) that have an issue. Be sure to determine BEFORE deleting them( Next step) - their size.

  4. Right mouse on each image - and move it to the trash (not just remove reference to it).

  5. Take your images that are to replace the appery images - in 'Finder' rename them to the names of the assets you deleted in step 4. Making sure your images have the same px dimensions as the Appery ones you deleted - and now have the same NAME as the appery images (so name and size are now the same as the appery images you deleted)

  6. IN xCode - right mouse over any asset in the splash section - and select "ADD' - add the 4 images that you renamed and ensured the sizes were correct back to the project.

  7. Run the IOS simulator for the devices that have different - but problematic splashes -iPhone 4 and 5 in my experience and memory - which could be troubled.

  8. Make sure the app runs - and shows the right splash screens.

  9. Archive and submit to the IOS store...

  10. Smile - you just worked around a serious issue - your client is happy - you are exhausted lol.

    Best,

    Bruce

As a final bit of information - I just was rebuilding one of ours projects for the first time since the release on Sunday - and - upon export to xCode - I find this issue is FIXED.

You might ensure you are using the most current builder and libraries version - and see if upon export this issue does really still exist.

Awesome Bruce. I published about two weeks ago. So the problem could be sorted now with this release, Thank you for your input and assistance. Much appreciated.

Please drop me an email on a href="mailto:deon@software3.biz" rel="nofollow"deon@software3.biz/a if you would be interested in adddional dev work. I from time to time need help on projects which I am keen to outsource developers with appery.io experience.
