Event to select tab

It would be good to have an event to be able to select specified tab child.
For example I have a link or button in one tab and want to click that link/button - to navigate to another tab (tab child).

Currently I can rename tab, enable/disable, hide/show.

Here is how to do it (if I understand the question correctly).

Create three page, on each page you place the navbar (tabs) and select which one is selected. Then, add navigation to each tab.
