Ionic App APK installs but stops immediately when run

I've found the issue.
connected the physical device to Android Studio and checked the monitor when attempting to load the app.
Seems like the "Check Network State" flag had been deselected at some point and this was throwing an error.
I re-added the check_network_state permission and the app now loads
