Hello Eric,
I tested your app on both iOS (6.1.3) and Android (4.4.2) and followed the 4 steps that you said earlier. It works fine for me in both devices or in other words sending message works fine on iOS as well as Android. Kindly try again and let us know if it works for you or not.

thks for your time on that matter.
I don't know why it doesn't work on mine. I'll find another iOS device and make it on my certificate to install the app and check the connection for push again.
