I am adding the dateselector on Tiggzi and for some reason the app gets stuck when I add it. I.e when I click to open the popup where the date selector is located, the loader is stuck loading and it doesnt open the popup.
I checked the console log, and this is the error:
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot call method 'formatDate' of undefined
Is there any way I could add a date selector besides this? OR how do I fix it? Thanks!
This is working now, I dont know how it got fixed but its working after i added other components in my app
okay, this is not working again, I mapped the default value of the calendar to my REST service and it stopped again ... this is so frustrating!
You will need to provide more details as to what exactly you did. Are you using a Tiggzi component and/or custom JavaScript? I can't tell you what's wrong by just the error message.
So this is what I have:
A screen with a button which opens the pop up. Inside the popup I've placed the date selector. Whenever I click on the button which is supposed to load the popup with the date picker in it, it just stops there and keeps loading. In the console log I got the error I've mentioned in my initial post.
I have a REST service which will be taking the date(and some other input fields) and adding them to the database. I am not sure if this will help you to understand whats going on. Whenever I remove the date selector, the button functions just fine, and opens the pop up, but when I add it, it won't work.

Hello! We'll test it. What device with what version do you use to test?
Anything I test it on does the same ... there must be an error with the formatDate method on the datepicker somewhere.
Hmmm so this is stopping me from moving forward with my project, it would be great if you can look into this, this has been a problem since the beginning for me, and I'm sure I am not doing anything wrong on my part. It's the datepicker which is causing the problem.
