weinre debugging stopped working - "You have no permissions to view this project" Error

Again, weinre stopped working.
Will not open in any of three browsers.
I have apps running on browser, and on phone.

Recurring problem apparently for many people.

weinre debugging stopped working - "You have no permissions to view this project" Error

It happens to me once in a while, I couldn't figure it out why. Apparently it is a bug: https://c.getsatisfaction.com/apperyi...

weinre debugging stopped working - "You have no permissions to view this project" Error

Hi Joseph,

You have not checked option "Enable Weinre debugging"

Details: http://prntscr.com/5fgdrb/direct

I've checked it, and run your app. After i gave following result:

  1. http://prntscr.com/5fgeij/direct

  2. http://prntscr.com/5fgevw/direct

So it seems weinre works correctly in your app.

    Regards.

I don't leave the option checked since it sends a huge amount of network traffic in the live application.

I just checked a moment ago, and it's not working. It hasn't worked for me for some time.

You may note that for this app, it stopped parsing the config.xml also (another posting) during the compile (export) for an .ipa file. Likewise, my application halts after receiving a single push notification (new behavior) and I cannot debug it without Weinre without considerable difficulty.

It seems that not a day goes by without something happening in the development environment that tells me it's unstable, from magic transaction fields added to my app, xml files not parsed, weinre debugging halting, push notification halting...

I don't leave weinre debugging turned on unless I use it. I generates phenomenal network traffic I don't need to see when I debug the app in my browser.

You may see it working, but I don't.

Hasn't worked for me for days, I assumed it was a "normal" not working, but it has not come back to life.

In general weinre goes up and down every few days, I think it would be annoying if I sent a message everytime it didn't work.

weinre debugging stopped working - "You have no permissions to view this project" Error

Hi Joseph,

Actually problem could be with your bin app cause of i've tried it in web mode and it worked correctly as i wrote above.

Please try following to narrow the problem.

  1. Enable WEINRE debugging.

  2. Save the app.

  3. Run app in browser.(test).

  4. Check debugger for connected items.

    Regards.

Yuri, I do this over and over. Weinre started working again, spontaneously. Problem closed until it stops again.

It's unstable. No user should be able to have the debugger simply stop. I don't need it corrected, I need it stable.

Hello Joseph!

You are right, it really looks unstable. We have reported this bug some time ago, but I changed its priority to Critical so that developers can research this issue.

I am very sorry for inconvenience!
