You would need to install and test the app on the device as this is a native feature.

Barcode scanner operational?

I have done that using the Appery Android tester app on my Samsung Android tab3, and as I mentioned it has worked. I am now trying to troubleshoot to regain the functionality that i had previously.

Sorry, I'm not sure I understand what exactly the problem do you get.

I am not sure what to do at this point either.

(1) I am using the Appery Androd app tester.
(2) I had the barcode functioning on my device earlier.
(3) It stopped working. When I click on the button to invoke the barcode device, it no longer invokes.
(3) I shared the project with you,
(4) It works on your device [so not a coding error on my part]
(5) There must be something wrong with my device.
(6) What device/os version are you testing on?

I tested on Samsung Galaxy S3 Android Version 4.1.2,

You need to export apk file, install it on device than test the app.

Hi Chris,

To build an .apk file click Export - .apk in the Appery.io builder. Then you'll be able to install it on your Android device using a cable or QR code.
