We tested the app again and did find some barcodes where we couldn't scan. Were you able to scan any barcodes with your app?

Sorry about the late reply.

I couldnt scan any barcodes with my app. As mentioned before the camera just keeps refocusing and doesnt scan.

I have attached a copy of a barcode that I can scan very easily with my proprietary barcode scanning app, however, it doesnt work with my tiggzi app.

FYI, I am using an HTC Device HD with Android version 2.3.5.

I wasn't able to scan this bar code with my phone either (maybe it's the picture). Are you able to scan the QR code from Test window (in Tiggzi)?

I did manage to scan the QR code with the app. However, every normal barcode I've tried to scan with the app doesnt seem to work.

We tested your app again and were able to scan all bar codes (except one). This comes down to the native code used in the bar code scanner from PhoneGap and the device it's running on. The plug-in code appears to work fine on some devices but less on others. We will update the plug-in version in Tiggzi but you can also do the same with your app, once you export it.

I know its been a while since I looked at this but I would like to pick it back up. I have exported the app with the view to upgrade the PhoneGap build, however, I have done so as an .apk and I cant seem to work out how to actually update it.

I'm not sure I understand what exactly you tried to update or what's not working?

You mentioned that I should update the plug-in version of PhoneGap in Tiggzi but I should do the same with my app once I export it.

I exported it via binary APK for testing on my phone, however, as it seems like it is already compiled, I don't understand how I am to update the PhoneGap version. I also tried exporting in the web project version and again, couldn't see where I was to update PhoneGap.

If you want to upgrade PhoneGap version (or build yourself), export the app source.
